Sridevi Gopinath has been in the field of Bharatnaytyam for the past 25 yrs in the dance institute Shri BharatKala Ashram under the guidance of Guru Shri K Gopinath and Smt Sunitha Gopinathan - a senior disciple of Padmabhushan Prof. C.V. Chnadrasekhar and Smt. Jaya Chandrashekhar

Shri Nrithyakala Ashram ( SNA) , a Melbourne based dance instiute that teaches Bharatnatyam in the traditional style of Kalakshetra with utmost discipline and dedication for the past 9 years now

Shri Nrithyakala Ashram, meaning "learning Nrithyam without hurdle" is a hub of knowledge and an immersive place to discover the art in you. At SNA, dance is tied closely to culture, discipline, and social well-being, touching every aspect of the student's personality and preparing them not only for performance but for life. SNA provides a perfect environment for overall student growth, with a friendly atmosphere and a curriculum that blends a variety of factors to deliver the best to the kids.

SNA also participates and organise events and dance programs across Australia and India that helps students to show case their talent.



The Culture café of Victoria is a bold artistic house proudly based in the North of Melbourne in the Hume council Municipality on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people.

We support local arts and artists to thrive in the ARTS sector. We encourage everyone to participate in the arts by: partnering with a range of local arts organisations through annual grant funding or low-cost leases promoting exciting and interesting arts programs for you to participate in or attend commissioning dynamic and engaging public art for everyone’s enjoyment making it easy for you to organise your own events, by helping you find suitable spaces and applying for permits you need.
